Book Review of "Betgratis: Memlius' Adventure" by George R. Bethea

The story of Casino (a.k.a. Agen Bet in Dutch) revolves around the quest for a certain ancient Coin. We follow the quest through the stages (levels). We are introduced to the characters: Manager, Mafia Wars' Boss, Sebatian the Sebatian (a very ambitious local) and of course our player, Hector who is all set to be the first ever professional Mafia Wars player!

The story begins with Hector being hired by his cousin Marullo (a member of the Maori tribe, also known as the Yellow tail tribe) to look for a specific Coin. But first, he must prove to his Uncle Vincent that he can perform the job properly and not end up stealing from him. He goes to the sewers where he meets up with judi online untuk (girlfriend online), a girl he has just met. The two of them decide to help each other in getting the Coin. But while doing so, they become enemies.

During their travels, the two boys run into some problems, mostly with the local Mafia Families (made up of a few corrupt officials) who want to get hold of the valuable Coin. They try to bribe Hector with a bag of gold or a horse, and some even try to force him to sell out his friends, if he doesn't deliver the Coin on time. You can see that this particular part of the plot is not as simple as it seems and you'll find that players will try every means possible to win this race and even if they come very close, they still lose. The next part starts when the players learn from judi online terbaikis that Hector's cousin Marullus has betrayed him. He threatens the latter with death if he does not give him the Coin. Hector and his cousin fight and during the struggle, one of them falls ill. Later, they are visited by Memilius who wants to teach them a lesson in dealing with anger. If Hector didn't have his cousin as a brother, he would never have taught him that anger is not the solution. In fact, everyone who reads the novel would probably agree that both characters in the story, Hector and Memilius, are great role models.

The rest of the novel details the perils of being caught. Hector gets himself into a lot of trouble. First, he is framed for the murder of a Senator. He then finds himself in the center of a conspiracy that involves terrorists and international terrorists. He also is blamed for the death of his own brother, Situs. The novel ends with Memilius dying in prison and Hector committing suicide by hanging himself in the temple he built.

The translation of the names of characters such as Adalah (wife), Akel (son), Menelaus (friend), Memilius (uncle) and Attalus (policeman) may be a bit confusing at first; however, once you read the context in which they are mentioned, it makes sense. Attalus, for example, is clearly identified as the husband of Memilius. Memilius' realization that his uncle is plotting against him is at the core of the book. Although Attalus does die in the book, it is implied that he will return to Greece. The fact that Hector spends the last two chapters protecting the kingdom of Troy is evidence that some of the characters in the story have returned home.
